During my recent stay at Hotel Rural Restaurante Los Rosales, conveniently located on my route south, I was welcomed by stunning panoramic views and the charm of a restored miner's house. Despite being the only guest during this off-peak season, I found comfort in my spacious suite, which was equipped with a cozy seating area, air conditioning, and rustic décor that perfectly blended modern comforts with tradition. The garden, complete with a seasonal outdoor pool and sauna, was an inviting oasis, although I did find myself venturing into town for meals, as the on-site restaurant was closed during my visit. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly attentiveness of the staff, even if there was a language barrier with the owner. It was a serene escape, perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a tranquil retreat in Almaden's beautiful landscape. I would certainly recommend it for a brief stay, yet encourage future travelers to check the dining options in advance for a complete experience.
